The Athletic-MindedTM
Traveler:
Where to Work Out and Stay When Fitness is a Priority
Finally, fitness enthusiasts can travel in athletic style. Wave good-bye to closet-sized workout rooms, worn machines, short pools and congested running routes. With The Athletic-Minded Traveler, planning a vacation or business trip that is conducive to your healthy lifestyle is no sweat. Entertaining and easy to follow, this book recommends over 500 of the BEST hotels, health clubs and community centers in 78 of the country’s most popular travel destinations.
|

|
Co-authors Kaese and Huddle scoured information on 2,200 hotel and fitness locations and
personally toured the 1,100 that made their first cut—so you don’t have to! By recommending the BEST places to stay AND work out, you can match your accommodation preferences and personal budget to your workout needs. Their Gold, Silver and Bronze hotel recommendations are the cream of the crop and are divided into three price categories, “Expensive,” “Moderately Expensive” and “Least Expensive.” To fully cover the fitness spectrum, they identify worthy and convenient health clubs, community centers, YMCAs, lap pools and running routes as well.
The 400+ page Athletic-Minded Traveler is more than a fitness resource. It is the perfect travel companion and advisor for anyone in search of reliable accommodations and convenient fitness venues. With candid advice, detailed specs and helpful descriptions, travelers can have the right hotel, in the right location with the right workout.
